Liturgical Ministries

Special training prepares men and women for these ministries.  Contact the parish office for more information.

Proclaims Sacred Scripture during the Liturgical Celebrations of the year.  Click on the link to see Ministry of Lector Guidelines.
Assists the priest with distributing Holy Communion at Mass and for special Eucharistic celebrations.  Brings Holy Communion to those unable to worship with us because of illness or infirmity.  Click on the link to see Minister of the Holy Communion Guidelines.
Assists with the seating, the collection and the procession of gifts, and attends to the needs of the assembly gathered.
Cantors, song leaders, choir members, pianists, organists, and instrumentalists enhance the liturgical celebrations.   During Advent, we will begin singing new Mass Parts.  If you would like to learn these parts, click on the link which will take you to each Mass Part on YouTube.
Altar Servers
Students in third through twelfth grades, who have celebrated First Eucharist, prepare what is needed for Mass and assist the priest during Mass.
Assists with church environment for all Liturgical Seasons of the year.
