Religious Education

Religious Education Coordinators:
Kristan Wedlock, Parish Catechetical Leader (PCL)

Religious education in our parish provides an essential service to our parishioners as a way of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our children. St Philip Neri Religious Education Is faith formation that is centered around our Catholic values.  We embrace all and promote full participation in the church.  Of course, the first catechists in any child’s life are the family members with whom he or she resides.  The home should provide a place where we learn to understand and live our faith. Attendance at Holy Mass (Sundays and Holy Day of Obligation) is to ensure your child is participating in and celebrating Christ’s resurrection.

Registration forms can be printed from this website or obtained from the Religious Ed Office.  Please complete and return either in the offertory, to the Religious Ed Office, or mail to P.O. Box 146.  If you pay the fees in Online Giving, you may email the completed form to RelEd@spncatholic.com.

If you have any questions, contact SPN Religious Ed Office at 337-738-5535 or at RelEd@spncatholic.com.

*You must be a registered member of our church parish for your child to attend religious education. You can call the Religious Ed office to find out if you are registered. We will have forms in the foyer of the church or in the religious education office that can be filled out when you come to register your child.
